Other Characters: Starscream (FoC), Jazz (TFA), Cyclonus (IDW), Breakdown (TFP)
Name: Veser Amaker Hatch
From: Hanna is Not a Boy's Name
Appearance:

Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality: Veser isn't too deep. Described by the author as an "annoying teenage twat", he has very little manners and even less social tact. While often being childish, Veser is also a womanizer, often hitting on any girl that passes his way and bragging about his conquests in relationships (which most people agree that he's lying about). Even deeper under this, he's an absolute cynic with no faith in anyone because everyone he's ever gotten close to has let him down in some way. He refuses to ask anyone for help because he believes that if anyone else tries to solve his problems, they'll just mess it up. Violence is always an option to Veser, although this is really just his method of self-defense. In short, he is a complete slave to his emotions.
Backstory: Veser Amaker Hatch was born on April 1st, 1991. But the story behind him really goes far beyond that: it begins with his father, only known as Mister Hatch, who stole the pelt of a female Selkie in order to force her into marriage. It was quite obvious that she hated him, even when they had a son together -- this was Veser.
Even as a little child, Veser wasn't treated quite the same as any normal kid. Sure, his father paid attention to him... for a few months. But on the other hand, his father's best friend, Lee Falun, took up raising the boy. But this was all absently done and with other intentions, because Lee was in love with Veser's mother. Even as Veser got older and more "accident" prone, often claiming that he crashed his bike or got into a fight when Lee questioned a new bruise or cut, he was always put onto the back burner. It wasn't until Lee was murdered recently and came back as a ghost that he realized just exactly how Veser kept getting hurt: his father, who strangely disappeared around the same time.
Veser, while this mystery is being explored, is happily putting his lime green shoes on the cushions of a couch belonging to the worst vampire in the world.
Moral Standing: Neutral Good, at best.
Dreams: In terms of his canon, finding the cause of Lee's murder and bringing the guilty party to violent justice.
Fears: Losing people close to him.
Extra: Veser has a HUGE host of problems with controlling his emotions and venting his anger in healthy ways. He shows an almost unhealthy amount of concern towards his harpoon, and always carries this around when he leaves his house.
Character Location: Veser brings his house, which looks pretty much like this except bigger and darker.
Samples: Various samples from the webcomic and from the author's own doodles.
His first (full body) appearance
Parental relations aren't too good
Underage drinking is bad, folks
Interaction with other characters, somewhere in there
Writing Sample: Dear Mun entry back on LiveJournal
